Vlieland
Vleiland is a cool little island where we have been staying for the past 3 days. It has a lighthouse, a big beach (with a few restaurants), a small town (with a lot of restaurants), a big marina (where we have been staying), and a ferry terminal. It is in the west Frisian islands in the Netherlands and is surrounded by the north sea. There used to be two towns, East and West Vleiland, but West Vlieland got swallowed by the sea in 1736. The beach stretches along the whole north side of the island and has fine white sand. I think my favorite part of the island is the beach.
Seth, that sounds like an amazing place and I'm sad we missed it. But also you didn't mention all the rain (and PJ days).
Hi Seth!! I love that you are learning so much from hands on in real life experiences. I have a question is there one thing that you didn't bring with you that you wish you would have brought with you? Or thought would be really useful during your travels?
